Main missions

• Defines the axes of production and support services (Quality, Maintenance, Production), in line with the overall strategy
• Coordinates, organizes and implements the technical and human resources necessary to achieve the expected results in terms of profitability, quality performance management, costs, deadlines, in compliance with regulations
• Guarantees the proper operational functioning of the site and its management in accordance with strategic plans and annual forecasts
• Defines and implements action plans concerning the evolution of the industrial tool
• Coordinate the maintenance policy
• Follows the evolution of the main technical profitability ratios
• Monitors, ensures regular reporting and reports on the results of the activity in qualitative and quantitative terms to the Chief Operating Officer
• Participates in the development of the investment policy
• Participates in the reflection on the positioning of the company vis-à-vis the market and its competitors
• Animates and manages the site’s environmental and safety approach Safety and Environment Manager
• Animates and manages relations with the IRPs with the Human Resources Department
• Manages and supervises the Production teams; plan and set their goals respecting the target for quality related to the waste and work on a daily base to move the performance of the plan to become excellent in every sectors
• Defines social policy and contributes to the maintenance of a good social climate, federates resources

The entire site, customers, suppliers, insurer (chambers of commerce, deputy, town halls,)…

Security

In the exercise of his mission, the holder of his function must ensure that:

• Wear the mandatory individual protections (hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves, protective glasses, cut-resistant gloves, apron, etc., depending on the operation)
• Organize and clean your workspace regularly
• Familiarize yourself with and ensure the application of the rules of procedure
• Observe safety instructions

Training

• This position requires a higher level education (Bac+5 or equivalent) specialized in textiles or chemistry, supplemented by a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Management. Bachelor in engineering, textile will be a plus
• Good knowledge of textile technologies, in particular Knitting, Finishing.
• Production operational practice
• Serious knowledge of the principles of Lean Manufacturing , 5S, Kaizen, etc …
• Knowledge of processes and product performance
• Good knowledge of quality standards
• Mastery of computer management tools
• Team management, organization and leadership
• English and French proficiency
